I know I posted this allready, but the topic dissapeared. So I am asking again:

Will the superweapons in Generals be hardcoded or will they be found in a common ini file?

Thanks

Yes you can create new superweapons. The way they work is quite a bit different from what your used to in ra2.

Theres a spare slot for multiplay, the Baikonur Rocket, and editing that is going to be the simplest way to learn how to customize and make a completely new one.

So, you're saying that we will be able to add any kind of superweapon freely, like the weatherstorm or the ironcourtain, among others???

Thank

ok, let me get this right - you want a computer game that allows you to fire an Iron Curtain on your own stuff and a Weather Storm at your enemy, right?

Solution: buy RA2, its been out for some time now ;)

I bought Ra2 a long time ago and I have mada a few mods, but my question is if anybody can add superweapons or they are too difficult to handle (hardcoded)?

:tard:

::cough:: From what i've gathered :), adding
superweapons is gonna be like RA2.

Hard for n :dead: :drunk: bs but gets easier due
to the fact you will *hopefull* know the code by then.

Basically, its not hardcoded.

A little bit optimistic?

Doubt you can add a Chronosphere, Iron Curtain (or you have to edit the repair superweapon to do 100% repair at once, not very Iron Curtain like) Psychic Dominator to name a few (the rest of CNC superweapons should be possible, or I'm forgetting some things)

You can modify the Defector to make a kind of Psychic Dominator ;)

Defector?

Never seen it :p :S :dead:

But anyway, Chronosphere is over-optimistic.

Bit seperate topic, you spoke of a locomoter you made that could travel underneath specific tiles.

Just curious of it's still working

No, I think thats gone :( Along wth the supporting code code for Prisons. The demoralize logic is still partially active though.

yes you can use the 'defactor' thing as like a psychic effect like on RA2 YR so yes you can make a Psychic Dominator like weapon if you want..and chrono maby not but I could probably pull off a iron curton maby.

So no (working) prisons anymore

And no underground units :(

Bad news for Gen->TS mods :p
