EA is very much for mods. For one, I heard that they might actually be making that desert storm mod for bf1942 into retail. Secondly, as for cnc goes...they are for it, hell Delphi pushed as hard as he could for mods and such(we even played a few games of blitz1 against each other). Anyways, they are FOR mods...they just dont' know what to do with us yet...nor has there been a stunning breakout mod yet for cnc for them to support massively.
