Yes, he really is stealth, try it. Just put him in a building and when the enemy comes they won't attack it unless he shoots back. You se the colour and the flag but the enemy doesn't.

And no, you can't have two upgrades affecting the same thing. But to avoid confusion here: a WEAPONBONUS_UPGRADE merely adds damage to a weapon, and it's attached to the weapon itself, while a WEAPONSET_UPGRADE uses a whole new weapon set.

BTW, if anyone could answer this... Is it possible to give a unit a different armour type (or increased hit points) when it gets an upgrade from GLA crate? I want the Quad Cannon, Technical and Marauder to get bonus hit points when they salvage a crate. Any ideas on how to do this? I tried giving them a second and third ArmorSet with Conditions = CRATEUPGRADE_ONE and TWO, and then copying the existing armour types but reducing the percentages a little. But it crashed during startup, though it worked (without the desired effect) when I commented those lines out so that proves that those lines were the cause. I need to use some other way to do it but I don't know how. Any help would be appreciated.
