Your recolored Boris needs to have remapable reds on them. If you look at the palette unittem.pal, you'll see a whole row of red. These red will be replaced with the owner's color ingame. Since your Boris has no remap, it will always look the same no matter what the owner, leading to confusion as players try to find out whose unit is whose.
