btw, as for the story...DO NOT "bring back" the soviets, that is gay gay gay gay gay, instead just act as if the cold war continuded on (the soviets did support iraq i think so you can play off of that)...but, I have no ideas on how the hell to make australia a superpower...hmm, maybe an alien ship crash's in their country...and they get some technology from it? kinda sucky idea...but better than what you had before
