Ok its something along the lines of them finding a massive <insert very rare, made up diamond color>for now lets call it "royal blue diamonds". Which have some very interesting properties that not only allow for some great lazers and high tech components, but when processed a certain way...become the worlds only ultra-high temperature superconductors. By tightly controling the distribution of these new diamonds, Australia becomes one of the major world powers. Also, they attact many of the worlds top scientists to help them study the more advanced properties of the diamonds.
All of that being possible, since Australia is a very large country.
is that alright? if so I could do a rough storyline for the whole mod...just very basic ideas you could expand upon....
