I cant speak for a moderator, but I do respect their judgement in closing a topic - if its off topic, gets too long, causes display problems, becomes a platform for political/religious idealists, gets offensive (remember, people from all over the world visit here and that represents a multitude of cultures who may find even seemingly innocent things offensive) or simply repeats things that are already being discussed in another thread then I would consider those acceptable reasons for closing a thread.

For example, this is a thread asking a moderator why a post has been closed yet you posted it in a forum about editing Red Alert 2 and Yuris Revenge? The Troubleshooting and Technical Problems forum may have been a more appropriate place for this, so my call would be to move and/or close the thread Also, I see you use the 'dz' theme which means you would have got a 'pop up' telling you not to type in captials as thats considered 'shouting' yet you chose to ignore it - again, thats something that would lead me to close or even edit/delete a thread.

Please dont demand that moderators justify their decisions, they do their 'jobs'' voluntarily and in their own time, you can make that easier for them by playing by the rules which are there for the overall benefit of all users - the needs of the individual are outweighed by the needs of the multitude
