Default adding smoke trail to animated object ?

to put it simple: how can I do this ?
I tried with the "ParticleSysBone = *** ***Exhaust"
but all it does is draw a straigh smoketrail behind my moving (animated) object
also tried "Behavior = BoneFXUpdate" but no luck also

anybody have any tips ?
