Sure just use the aurora tactic just decrease the range it will explode behind it.
If you look at the aurora it has a special jetai moduletag wich refers to locomotors and how far behind the aurora a missile will detonate.
So by doing this you can make it explode right behind the airplane and by giving splash damage to it, it will hit its target.
