Yeah, that sounds cool but all the rail cannons I have seen have basically been triangles without corners ... know what i mean? because of the magents and such. Kinda like if you took the predators laser sight and extruded it, that shape, lol. So you may want to change it around a bit, you could search for some metal gear pictures on google. I remeber its rail cannon. Just a suggestion to give it some more character and also cut down a few polies maybe. Still looks cool over all though but I thought i'd drop some more input.
