a) Personally, I think you overestimate the number of people capable of actually going beyond the obvious and cosmetic modding.
b) There are several forums and groups, either public or "hidden" that share info on a free basis. Sleipnir is in my opinion a first class example of someone that shares ingenious and advanced research.
c) Although the idea of a patent bank sounds interesting, I’m convinced it will not get airborne. However brilliant the idea is, if it isn't followed by a change of hart and attitude it will stay just another interesting idea...
d) I made 2 attempts so far to create a "creative idea exchange pool", but i got far too few participants. Oh, sure, leechers!, of that you wont have any shortage ! :/
e) I give up on the idea of helping to build an exciting and warm C&C community. All I do now is jump to the most active forums (and hidden societies) and try to participate from time to time. I just go my own way now...
I can't deny the fact I’m pretty disappointed. I suppose the very young average age of C&C modders plays a great part of its failure to work together...
