You want to get Generals on your PC before you even think about modding. Then you want to get some practise done, even just basic ini work. After that you should branch out into at least one other area of modding. It can be anything, even team managment. Your gonna go have to be the top-dog if you want to lead a mod, since your team will require frequent motivation and inspiration.
