Yep that should be possible if you redo the particle cannon uplink system.
You would have to make a cylinder in renx that is called HOUSECOLOR01 and that is transparent to about 50% or so.
Then you would have to edit the original particle uplink module and make it invisible.
Thats a good idea of yours.
