I played the Mod alot!) The ION Cannon costs 8000 in Reborn,and doesn't just destroy one target! It has a double MOAB explosion,and destroys everything within it's range(within it's range that is,but it's range is quite wide!),not sure if maybe,just maybe,a GLA Command Center with armor upgrade can withstand it barely!(everything else will surely be vaporised!)
Not sure,it is a little overpowered to be in ProGen I think...... :/ Is good as a boss general only weapon in Reborn,but if you gave it to Ironside,which is allready VERY powerful,and has tree super weapons allready! No,thats a very bad idea! Same goes for Alexis! Townes............maybe,but he also has very powerful Laser units allready! :/ I think the ION Cannon will simply make any general WAY overpowered in ProGen! :/
