Okay, first I want to say I have never tried this and I do not have the YR expansion, although I have cloned the para drop before; thanks to deezire's tutorial.
First you shouldn't need to give your secret tech the american para, just give it your clone. This should save you from having to allow the capturing team to get the american airport and planes.
Then, by theory, just change the amount & type of infantry dropped out of your cloned para to whatever you want it to be.
Remeber, this is theory & I never tried it. It just came to me and I think it might work. :|
