There's no housecolor in TW2.
Quote:
Having shown only vehicles and aircraft, I felt time to show you some American infantry and explain it's use in TrueWar2, and explain a bit more about playing TrueWar2 in general.
In TrueWar2, you'll have 3 principal modes of play, being Cavalry Warfare, sporting only armored vehicles like the M1A2, M2A3, M270, M109 and aircraft like the AH-64D, A-10, F-15E, AC-130 etc, where the goal is to eliminate the enemy command structure. How to achieve this I'll explain in a later newspost.
Another mode is Infantry Warfare. Having only infantry, you're objective is to kill either a certain number of enemy soldiers or a certain objective, which will be different in each map. You'll get support from aircraft, but in a more limited form. Maps in this mode will include battles as Operation Anaconda.
The third form combines both modes into Battle Mode. Your task is here either to seize or destroy certain objectives, or to destroy the enemy command structure. Maps in this mode will include the Battle of Bagdad.
Having lifted a tip of the curtains, now the graphical part of the newspost, the infantry.

This picture shows 6 US soldiers storming past a M2A3 Bradley in the Iraqi desert.

While this pic shows the same 6 soldiers from the front. From left to right:
M16A2, M16A2, M16A2, M249, AT-4, M16A2.
The soldiers here are linked into a reinforced FireTeam of 6 men. One of them is a sergeant giving commands that organise the soldiers better, while another one (not yet added here) will sport a M203 grenade launcher. All these troops are linked together like the Angry Mob, to minimize the micromanagment needed for infantry warfare.
