right im baffled. i beleive i've followed all the tutorials ive found to the letter.
ok so this is what ive done so far. ive got a model skined blah blah blah. right i've made an alpha channel in photoshop 6 and saved as a targa. got the model all setup in gmax. ive applied the texture to it using the material editor and i've selected alpha blend from the blend mode. apllied that to the model. then i export it to w3d. and in w3d viewer the bits that are meant to be see-through are white, and ingame there black.

someone please fix it and tell me what i've done wrong!!!! thanx in advance.
