No, I don't think that will work...Tesla Coil have 2 weapons, one for normal use and one for when it's overpowered.
The Prism Tower also have 2 weapons, one is the Prism shot that destroys enemyes, the other one is the Support beam wich is shoted at other prism Towers. And I think it's hard coded that only one type of building can overpower another of the same type.
Of course, you could make the Prism Tower not being "helped" by other Prism Towers, only by a Prism trooper...
