I suggest we use a system of lights and train him to press certain combinations to mean certain responces.
For example we could have 1(one) red light that might signify 'no' and 1(one) green light to signify 'yes'

In fact, I have read an article somewhere about "preprogrammed codes in the brain", not instincts or body language, but forms of lights and noises that form a "universal language". This would however be a very time eating effort..
