Any aircraft turns away after it has fired all of it's shots, or if it hasn't finished, it'll circle over the target zone.
The carpet bomber does it's little turny thing after it's gotten to the end of the target zone, and has a poor turning circle, meaning it disspears for some time before returning.
Called in migs from the China Napalm Strike have a tendency to come back the way they came after firing, but I don't think it's possible to do what you mean to do.
