Basically it affects all mechanics. If you know a bit of physics you know what I mean. It affects how things are affected by forces in general. That means any kind of friction, explosion, shockwaves, etc. So things with lots of mass decelerate a lot slower when they hit the ground than really light things. So a heavy plane would slide on further before it stops. Compare a brick to a feather when they slide over the ground.
