Here are some interesting pictures involving the pre-release version of Generals.
I believe these urban buildings should have been in the final release. I really like the large buildings and it makes me wonder why they ditched most of them. The larger buildings give it more of an urban combat feel.

These are some of the units they acctually stuck with. The tank with the two barrels and the rocket was the prerelease scorpion tank which is still in the files.
