You've kind of revived an old topic when you really should have posted on the
Rock Patch forum or
Renegade Rock Patch topic.
Anyway, I wrote the patcher:
The message 'damaged installation' only appears when you have installed YR and/or updated to 1.001 but a critical file is missing from your YR installation.
Solution: reinstall YR.
But too many computer newbs do not know how to reinstall properly:
1. Uninstall YR (and RA2)
2. Delete your RA2 folder and everything in it.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Install RA2
5. Update RA2 using the YR CD
6. Install YR
7. Update YR to 1.001 (exe update preferred - english version is available on my site)
8. Run Rock Patch program.
