Isengard siege units and Mordor siege units are extremely cheap after you build several furnaces. But about the lag you're right. Rohans siege unit are the ents though I confess they are extremly expensive and slow. About Isengard archers they are using crossbows. And historical most crossbows fire faster then bows.
