I just made my first model (meh), a tank, and i need to skin it now, and am finding it alot more difficult then modelling.
I have followed the stickied tutorial up to a point (and i found this difficult because the links to all the files are broken, and i had to find them myselves and didnt know what they were o_O).
I have used the program to flatted and arrange all the polys, and create a UVWunwrap, but i dont know which bit goes where :S they are all the same, and their names are just Object01, so i cant define between them. Im just wondering, if there is any sort of secret or technique i have missed or am missing? I think painting a skin will be easy if i can just make this map
