CodeCat - thank's for the kind words, i read a few posts here before joining and posting myself, i saw the "how do i model" posts and knew i had to research this myself properly.
Killa - thank's for the reply, wierd thing is, thru your tutorials, it apepars you move the X-axis, which is what i was doing, but for me to achieve the same result, i had to move the Z-axis.
This confuses me, as i thought i read that the x axis = left and right, y axis = up and down and z axis = in & out (or something)....
NOTE: Actually, upon reviewing what i just did, i realised that i had to move the X-axis in the lower left viewpoint, if i tried moving the x-axis in teh upper right, it led to my catastrophic results.
I would like to extend my appreciation for your reply once more, i have learned something here this evening that i will not forget, now i can move on and finish the tutorial.
