simply download it, then run it.
or try to install Yuri's Revenge, first thing that does it upgrade to RA 1.006.
if it won't patch, something is horribly wrong, try completly removing RA2, then re-installing it, preferably also re-downloading 1.006 patch, incase it is corrupt
