My Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Mod Released

Hard to believe that a bit of digging in the game files turned into an epic mod effort spanning almost 4 years LOL. I have released the final build of Things To Do In San Andreas 'Till You're Dead - Volume I. A special thanks goes to Koen Van De Sande (who C&C modders will know as the guy behind TibEd) whose vPatch plugin for NSIS proved to be invaluable to me in the deployment of this mod and is easily the best patching and deployment solution available - without this, it would not have been possible to distribute the mod as intended.

There is a mod page over at GTA Garage (kinda like Mod DB but for the GTA community) - GTAGarage.com » Things To Do In San Andreas and it's also featured on FPS Banana.

Next up, final polished versions of some C&C stuff to commemorate 10 Years Of DeeZire Online - watch this space!

hey man, I have been trying out your mod... its really great... however, I did every mission I could UNTIL the 'home invasion' mission... when I go to it, it shows the cut scene but, right after, my screen just goes black. I'm not sure what's wrong but every other mission works great. I love your side mission add ons.. If you want me to send my save game to you just ask. good luck.

why the install button doesn't want to be clicked?

The install button will remain greyed out unless you select the installation directory of a full, clean, genuine installation of GTA: San Andreas.

i got vista and when i load a new game the progress bar freezes in middle. I did the compatibility and the administrator stuff

Hi

I have the same problem as as Riz009. On the page where I have to indicate an install directory, the install button is greyed out, and when I attempt to choose a directory via the browsing window, the "select" button is also greyed out.

I can assure you that I have a legal copy of San Andreas, but could it be that I have the Steam version? And it may also have something to do with the fact that I am having difficulty marking the folder as "read-only". When I click "apply" and close the properties window, and then open properties again, I find that the settings have reverted. I've tried restarting my computer afterwards, but no joy.

This is so frustrating, because this mod sounds brilliant! Any advice you can offer? Thanks!
