Don't be so sure about that, look at Deus Ex 2. That took what, three years and it still isn't that good.

Or tiberian sun for that matter. It was good, but it could have been so much better.

This reminds me of the old TibSun forums wars about when Dee was going to release the next version. That eventually got the forums closed and thn RA2 came along and the same problem happened, except we didn't have to close those forums. I't fun as an oldbie to sit back and watch the bickering while patiently waiting for the next verion. Ah the good old days.
