Who here would rather Dee releases what He has now - a beta type type thing, and he can release the full version whenever he's ready.

There would be no point, its out this week anyway. You've waited this long, so 5-7 days isnt gonna make much of a difference.

I couldnt release a beta this time even if I wanted. This project is huge, I mean really big, and the way I work means that Im constantly hopping from one thing to another. This is partly because of its design but also because I get bored with one thing very easily

This means the project as a whole is rarely in a state of completion until near its end, so I couldnt release a fully functional working version. Although my approach is more time consuming, the plus-side is that the end result is much better, more stable/reliable and is greater than the sum of its parts

I always wait for the final release. One reason is I don't want half of the experience and then wait for the other half. The second is that there could be major bugs that good damage the comp and the game.

At least I hope not lol. Ack scrap the beta idea, the final 2.0 version is out in 1 week

Take your time Dee, good release = fewer bugs, less complaints from the kids in this forum.
