hiya lady, i would love to see any addition to this mod, reguardless if its a super weapon unit or stucture......... Deezire always makes it very graphically neat and intersting for play. my vote is for it to be in ........and anything else for that matter the Deezire deems to be of value. if u remember the yuri mod it was chuck full of things......... game types units and such............i thought that was one of the most flexible amd interesting mods ever...........
cyaz lady.............

The Ion Cannon in Reborn 5.0 (the third release) is only able to take a Command Center down to about 25% of its health. It takes 6minutes to charge, only one general can build it, and it costs 5k. It's not overpowered IMHO, but it does look awesome! (same with the Heavy Airstrike, Saturation Bombing, and all the artillery gen's SWs!)

The "real" Ion Cannon wasn't a building!
It was an orbital satelitte and it's weapon systems were linked to the Adv. Comm. Center of the GDI. :-)
O've no idea to re-construct that for generals! Has somebody an idea)

Dude ZH Reborn - what I lvoe about it is the TONS of new units, even if some are a little buggy...
Hopefully ProGen will have tons eventuallyt
Now just units, but tons of everything!

It's basically trying so hard to be a nuke-replacement ability. It's a Particle Cannon....but it doesn't move. It's a nuke...but with no radiation. So basically, you have the equivalent of the current General Alexander ICBM, with a particle cannon animation.
And it's so powerful that it can destroy a critical building in one hit, which to my knowledge, no other superweapons can do. This seems unbalanced, and rather unnecessary, to me. The whole importance of critical buildings being unable to be killed in one shot, is there for a reason.
The US arguably has too many superweapons as it is, with most of them simply being clones of other superweapons from the enemy. This is just one more.

I wouldnt really say Ion Cannon but Pro Gen could benefit from the TONS of units, features, and abailites made to make generals even better

Nah. Extra features in Gen would be useless, stupid and... not cool. I'm glad Dee realised that, the loads of units in RA2 DeeZire kinda sucked IMO.

I agree totally, although some units were underpowered they still had some uses. Or at least that's what i think.

There's a reason CannisRules: Balance of Power is my favorite RA2/YR mod and Pro:Gen is my favorite Generals/ZH mod: They both dont add in tons of units, they just make the game balanced and more fun, and clear up all the bugs.
