-Notepad
-Word

Basically, that's all you need (either of them although I prefer notepad A LOT). Actually, that's all you can use...

On the subject of the mistakes: you make mistakes. I made a lot at the beginning too, like everyone else (only fleas are perfect, so don't trust a perfect human, it's most likely a flea in disguise :scared: ).

Just copy/paste code and then alter them by looking at other variations of the code. Check every change to see if it's working and in case of probs, disable bits of altered code until the error won't occur anymore. Then either fix the problem yourself, or ask others for help on the subject, posting your code (the code you disabled last for the game to work is the one acting up...it might be good code on itself, yet bad references in the other ini's might conflict still).

Anyways, it takes a lot of time to get the hang of it, but it's worth it...

Copycat i think a good extracter for the INI's would be XCC 1.24. And yeah Notepad is INVALUEABLE.
