Default Which bones? Please help..

I've read killakanz bone tutorial and followed it to bone my tank, but I can't seem to make the launch & fireFX bone to work correctly.. See attached screenshot, as you see the shot comes from inside the tank and the fireFX aswell...

I've replaced the Battlemaster tank to see how the tanks looks ingame, and the bones for the battlemaster tank are theese (I think):

So, what should I name the bones for my tank? In killakanz tutorial they where named TURRETMS01 and TURRETFX01.. I guessed that I should rename them to MUZZLE01 & MUZZLEFX01, but it still didn't work?? What do I do wrong

Rename the bones on the tank, not in the INI. Leave the ini alone for now, if you just want to test the model out in-game, replacing a current model..

I renamed the bones, and I haven't touched the ini But it still didn't work :/ And as I said, I did replace the battle master model....

Create a bone at the end of the barrel where u want the projectile to come from, call it "Launch01".
Now in FactionUnit.ini:
Code:
DefaultConditionState 
Model = NVBtMstr 
Turret = Turret01 
WeaponFireFXBone = PRIMARY Muzzle 
WeaponRecoilBone = PRIMARY Barrel 
WeaponMuzzleFlash = PRIMARY MuzzleFX

Default problem solved.. but need help with another thing

Thanks for the help, but I guess the only one that could fix it was me .. I didn't export the bone objects as bones in RenX So the game didn't recognize them..

And btw, why hasn't any tutorials mentioned this? That you need to select "Export As Bone" in RenX under W3D Tools?? And deselct "Export As Bone" on the Geometry...

But, now I want to add a MuzzleFX, how do I do this? I tried but it wasn't transparent, how do I make it transparent so I don't see a black muzzle?



Look it works ! I've finally figured out how the bones work !! WOHOO

I need a skinner, I'm not so good with skinning
