Default Tomahawk Remote Control

Does anyone know how to reactivate it? I assume it allows you to give a tomahawk missile waypoints, which would be really, really cool. Here's the stuff from the .ini:

I can't even remember which ini has it, but it's called on in factionunit.ini and in the commandbutton and commandset. I do recall this very topic popping up somewhere on an earlier thread on here and as far as I know the waypointing stuff never got done. Looking at the "meat" of this game in the coding, I still think EA cut too many corners to get it out early. So, that said if you want this thing to work ya pretty much have two options: wait for the expansion or give deezire money to get it to work

When I get back home I can post all of the code I have found for this. Also note that this command no longer works with the retail version of generals.

I got the upgrade to work, insofar as buying it, but I think there's some sort of deleted code for the Tomahawk launcher and for the missile. At least I think its been deleted...I didn't notice it when I looked in the factionunit.ini

ya i got it only so u can buy it it needs a wayponit code but unlike the other C&C games the wayponit is not in game u need to make wayponit INI or something way to hard

It relied on CapableOfFollowingWaypoints= on the weapon which doesn't actually do anything. It was a concept feature that was never really completed since it was scrapped. The waypoint system in generals is so bad it wouldn't allow for the ability anyway.

see that is dumb, when I make games I will put stuff in for modders that isnt even in the game as in used as cutting corners like that is just stupid we can waight a few more weeks for a finished game

It did work once but looked dumb as the missile followed a ballistic arc pattern then suddenly started following a waypoint path :|
