Default MuzzleFX transparent ? :/

Ok, in GMAX when I make a muzzleFX, how do you make it transparent? So if the muzzleFX file is black with a fire, you want the black to be transparent? :/

iam not completly sure,
but what i have seen from Gmax,
you can select on the w3d tools tab, what kind of face the face you selected is..

ie select transparant or something like it.

The easiest way to take care of that is to delete it from your model. Generals will apply a muzzle flash along with the weapon from the standard fx list automaticly.

If you are determined to make a new flash object, then go into the object properties and set it transparent, then set the material shader blend mode to add. But the first meathod is easier and better in my opinion.

If black is going to be the transparent bit then it looks like the flash needs to be set to additive blending or something somewhere, i fiddled with 3d stuff for a while before I finally twigged that I can't skin or model for goat's kidneys ( :tard: ) so um, yeah
