Ultra Wierd Bug
Okay now im close to panic. Im making my small modifications to the ini's and made a little mod (enabling carpet bomb, napalm strike and terrorcell and making them all sciences, including the overlord) But then this super ultra wierd bug comes up. That anything that is made is doubled (two choppers from supply depot, 2 cargo planes paradropping supplies at suppyzone and 2 nukes/particle canons and 2 scudstorm. I mean when you use it, 2 appear. So instead of you get 1 supply collector from start, you get two. But NOW i wonder, how the **** have i caused this?!? Im so confused. Does anyone know anything that can cause this exept changing every number for every building to two instead of 1?
Now if you want me to print the code it would be hard, I didn't make a map.ini because i wanted to use it on every map so i just have looooooooots of code because it includes the orginal code for generals.

I don't know what it is but it's a pretty cool bug, so the China Infantry are doubled too? I mean, you get 4 Red Guards at the usual price? Could be a mod on its own...

nope, just the units you get from buildings and superweapons and the crate drop (can be more i just haven't checked out because i want to stop it whatsoever)

This is happening for everything? Ya might've spammed code somewhere copying and pasting stuff. I noticed when I was messing around with paradrop that for the last point increment ya do get 2 planes dropping and it was essentially 1 code repeated. You might have a duplicate somewhere in your code that's causing this.

Actually, refrain from using map.ini, seeing as it is extremely buggy to say the least...
As for you bug: you have either multiple copies of stuff, OR you have somehow, by weird chance, created a module to certain unit/object that it spawns 2 of each object you build...
When you look at the ChinaBarracks in FactionBuilding.ini, you'll see that it has a module that will spawn not 1, but 2 Red Guards (called ObjectCreationUpdate or something...I think..hey, it's been a while that I looked at the ini's...)

This is just the sort of bug that could suprise DZ...
(and CopyKat, yes, it has been a while you looked at the ini's...
When are you finishing that lovely Chinook platoon drop code?  )

To CopyKit:It's the behavior called ProductionUpdate.
And for the problem of OllBollen,I think it's the same as Americans Paradrop3 -- look at the code,you can see there're two DeliveryPayload.

okay to make myself understanded i mean that even stuff i haven't edited is doubled. wierd huh? And searching through all code im just too lazy to(i did a little search but didn't find anything wierd) do because it includes looking through whole generals code.
