because i think its cool for the community to share instead of hording everything... well i received this e-mail

"Dear.Sir,

you're doing a huge diservice to the modding community by putting up renegade models for download.me and my staff have been working night and day for 6 months to make a total conversion using the renegade models.you've effectively destroyed our mod before we finished it.can you please remove the oblisk from being downloaded since its a focal point of our mod.if you continue giving away the models then my staff and i may seek legal action"

I wouldn't put much stock in it. The models belong to EA, unless the email came from EA that legal action threat is an empty one.

Also... how have they been working on it for 6 months if generals has only been out for around 3? or...2

Yea don't believe any of the trash that guy says...better yet, you should email him back saying "You are wrong, I actually converted these first and thus I have the right to pursue legal action against you. I also have approval by EA to convert these models as well...I hope you do because they are cracking down on people stealing their work." or some bs like that...
