After offering to help you I looked into this very very deeply. As it stands they would have to tear the whole fricking editor apart to get it to work. Trust me on this I have torn that exe apart and it it would be nigh on to impossible for them to do it now and make it pay. They already got their cash. Unless you name you all your new shiny units after trees, trashpiles and unused stuff you aren't going to code the AI to build or use any of it. Considering 99% of the people that play GenNERFals never even play online once, one would have to assume that modding genrals is going to be either short lived or for the select few that actually play online AND use the mod. The problem lies in the fact that the unit list we are all used too doesn't exist The editor relies on internal strings. So unless they add a patch for each and every mod that will be made then I would say that the "Awesome mod support" is "awful mod support".

Its worse then I thought someone needs to make a third party editoed for the scb files or EA need to release the source for WB so maybe a third party can have ago at fixing the problems with WB.

Maybe they will find time in a X-Pack to fix the WB. But that could be a long time.

I think we should offer Olaf and Matze a carrot and have them just code a new editor...only because it would get done faster than a WB fix. :/
I mean really, how hard could it have been to make a unitlist.ini file??? They must have had something in mind at the start, because the smoking gun is still there... objects all specify "Editor sorting". What happened?
