Terrorformers: M.A.D Tank
Pic Here
It my latest fully completed Model, I modelled and skinned it all by myself, notice the clean cut textures, that is intentional, I like the "Cartoon Look"
It comes in at 355 Polys and has 3 seperate textures, the turret is set up with elevation, and the barrels all show recoil and look very pretty

Fantastic, I love the 'cartoon' skin idea, it will help give the mod a very original style.

indeed a cool style, almost looks cell-shaded
Tho a lot of people will asociate the name "m.a.d. tank" with the madtank from Ra1: Aftermath (the tank that self destructed)
also, you should try pasting everything on one single texture, it matters for the speed of the game, on buildings it dont matter much, but on units it does

Yeah they might make that mistake, awell if a name change is needed so be it
How much does multiple textures affect speed?
please take into consideration that the textures are all smaller than normal one is 64x64 the other 2 are 128x128

well, it doesnt affect it greatly, but it does affect it, especially when you have loads of those on your screen, mind tho, you dont have to make your texture 128*128, 256*128 should do aswell (at least i think)
i just like to make my textures bigger, instead of using seperate ones, also, dont forget you can scale down your skin if you think its too big without editting any UVW-Maps, the quality just reduces
i always make my skins in 512x512 or 1024x1024 even, i end up with qutie a detailed skin, after im done, i scale the skin down to 256 or 128 (depending on the details on the skin)
this way you can work far more precise
but if you say 2 skins are 128x128, and one is 64x64 then there should be no problem pasting everyhting on one 256x256, maybe a 128x256 if you have some spare room
