Default Tank treads

I just can't get the treads to animate on my tank. I have named the treads TREADSL01 and TREADSR01. Then I made a renegade material, set texture, and added the "UPerSec=0.1"-statement in the Stage0 mapping arguments. ofcourse I've also assigned the material to both treads and exported the file using the File->Export and not the export on the w3d tools menu. But still, it just doesn't work. What have I missed?

Are the tread objects bone.. are the materials for each tread different? Are they named the same as the tread they're applied to....

it should be YEs yes and yes

remmeber that things can be BOTH bones and objects, you just need to export the tread geometry with "export transform" and "export geometry" turned on in the w3d tools panel.

Ok, I changed it, but it still doesn't work. Can it be the kind of UVW-mapping I've choosed? Right now, I use the face-mapping.
