Default changing build time and cost through gen promotion

does anyone know how i would make it so tht i could buy a generals promotion and it would change the build time and cost of a certain building or unit? i know i will have to use some kind of OCL but i have no idea which kind to use or how to do it

can anyone please help me?

It is possible but very hard
have a look at oil refinery and mess around with that

Hey, never thought of that...

How about this:

- You purchase the science with a promotion point
- Your command center has an addon that needs only this science as a prerequisite, and functions like the oil refinery.
- You build the addon after buying the science, and then your units are cheaper.

Goketa, wouldn't that be possible?

yes i got it always enabled on my War factory cause i cannot be arsed to spend too much money and waste loads of time when testin my sup weapons and new codes

when u say oil refinery, i take it u mean the supply center? and wht is so special about tht? wht does it do tht will help me?

There is a tech building called the Oil Refinery, which makes your units cheaper once you have capture it. Look at the code, and then use it in some similiar way.
