He means:
* If anyone has managed to get the apache model working as a new unit, not replaces the comanche, then could they please post their model and/or skins and/or ini code. Thank you in advance. *

Or something along those lines.

well, i know squat about modelling, but anyways.. theres no code to do. all you have to do is import the apache model into ren-x, then export it and save it under a different name. im betting you just renamed the apache model right? that dont work.

I exported the AVComanche.w3d and AVComanche_d.w3d in RenX as AVApache and AVApache_d but i have a problem with the animations as the rotor (the rotetors) don-t move. They are there, standing still

Thanks

my guess is that it is the modellers fault, they didnt animate the rotors.

It is animated when the apache replaces the commanche, but when i export it with another name such as AVApache.w3d the animations stop working and it is a still frame

The model of the apache is from comanche>apache mod

thanks

Hey I posted a copy of my Apache on a post done by General-Commander. It should be a page or two back as of this post.

tor3203, to add a unit you have to edit the CommandButton, CommandSet, and FactionUnit ini files. The CommadButton allows you to build a unit, CommandSet tells where the build button is kept, and FactionUnit is where the new unit info is stored.

By the way, if you import a w3d file into RenX you have to reanimate it before you export it because you can't import animation. If you could infantry would be SO much easier.
