Yeah I already figured the way to check for double faces with opposite normals, came clear to me when I figured out what normals where which was a while ago now.

Did the STL modifier make it into GMAX ? better still did it make it into RenX ? I think I remember seeing it in 3DSMax but I dont think I've come across it in RenX

that's nothing special, it's just the dummy object placed when you use WWSkin
