Default IDEA : EMP Mine...

EMP mine is a mine that disables a vehicle when it gets close to it. Disable could be like Kill_Pilot. For balancing, the mine would cost a lot to build and would not do any damage to infantry. Question is, i could create it along the same style as a DemoTrap, but im wondering how to get it to kill the pilot of the tank when it comes close to it. Any one have any ideas?

Why not make it EMP instead of kill pilot? Since its an EMP mine, EMP weapon would amke much more sense.

i thought you might have trouble finding the emp effect so heres something to help i made an emp charge for col. burton so i know it works for me

here ya go

My real question is ... if its a proximity mine, how do i get it to go off only when a tank is near (ie not infantry)

Unde the weapon it will say something like: UseAgainst: INFANTRY VEHICLES
ect, all you have to do is delete the infantry part.
