The polygon count is indeed way to high for what it is...
-did you remove the interior walls of the pillbox?
-did you remove the faces of the steps at the bottom side?
-did you remove the faces top/bottom of the turret, and the back end of the gun?
etc etc etc...
It is not that those 300 polygons are too much for the game, but it is too much for the simple thing it is...
Small detail:
Is that a double gun on 1 turret?
If so.. How the hell are you going to turn with that concrete pillar between your barrels?
