Ideas for fallout ???
I think it's time to see wot u peeps think should be included in fallout ?
Please feel free to comment on the mod so far and add suggestions ,
such as: vehicles , troops , game improvements and styles.
eg. bomber aircraft that can land on water and stuff like that.
also, please keep ideas to more realistic ideas , because thats what henford wants the mod to be , realisctic, things like a plasma laser turret are kinda ok coz we got one in the mod but not things like flying tank aircraft and stuff.

Maybe you could grab some mutants. You know, post apocalyptic, nukes make radiation, poison water, etc. Oh yeah, lots of vehicles, or buggy type things. Dune racers  . However, I don't know how the story goes... :/

while it is post apocalyptic, it wasnt nukes that caused it. according to his storyline australia invented an antimatter missile and used it to wipe the whole of russia and most of europe clean off the planet.

Yep , thts close to the story heres a quick overview,
The actual story is there was a war on iraq and it was going well , but then Nuclear ICBMs were raining down on the United States key military facilities,
the finger was quickly pointed at iraq, but the military and facilities there where destroyed, and iraq never had the delivery systems to fire tht far
The mystery remained until an Australian fleet was attacked by a North Korean fleet 2000km north of Cape York, Queensland. THe USA launched attacks on north korea quickly. A week later, on January 6, 2004 North Korea surrendered after most of the country had been destroyed. The nukes korea used were old soviet missles.Russian president putin said
the Soviet missiles were sold illegally by outlying rogue ex-Soviet states. Tension grew between the US and Russia.US released information that
the missiles were infact made in the late 1990s, Russia launched a strike.
Nuclear Bombs and Air Raids allmost completely ruined the United Kingdom
and left its military scattered and disfunctional while Russian Tanks pushed through continental Europe, conquering countries by the hour.France and Germany, the only free countries left in Europe, were also succumbing
to the Russians. Then on 18 June, 2006, as Europe fell under the control of the Russians, something unexpected happened. A blue flash and suddenly the whole of Russia had been decimated. A second flash two hours later and the rest of Europe had been annihilated. The Russians were defeated. The US, proclaimed victorious denied responsibility for the attack which, in two large explosions, left the whole of Europe in ruin. The world was stunned, the War was over.CIA Spy Satellites tracked the missile to come from Australia. Surely this had been a mistake. Australia had not seen any military action for 4 years. On April 29, 2007, Australian President Howard claimed responsibility for the attack on Russia, stating the device used was an "Antimatter Bomb." A bomb secretly developed by Australian scientists over a 5 year period. Antimatter is the opposite of matter, with an opposite molecular structure. When Antimatter comes into contact with matter, it creates an explosion equivalent to that of 6 nuclear explosions.
President Bush ordered the Australians to disarm, if not for the security of the US, but for that of the world. Howard refused, and on January 2, 2008, ASIO, Australia's secret intelligence agency spotted US Carriers and frigates off the east coast of Australia. Within weeks, US jets were pounding military bases surrounding Sydney and Brisbane. The Australian Naval Fleet
mobilised and began a massive naval war between the US and Australian
Fleets, all while US ground troops are pushing into Australia. CIA and ASIO
spy satellites have also spotted Nuclear Weapons facilities and ICBMs, thought to be Russian, in Iraq, in addition to massive armor battallions. Saddam has had time to regroup and now had built a strong army to rival those of the mighty US and Australia, but so has the UK , who decide to lose the americans and, if it came to it, rejoint the war to save there country and build a strong rivaly with australia, guaranting security.
Now, world is plunged into War for a final time
To decide who will dominate...
but what can u expect , Henford is australian and he founded and owns the mod so , like all of us , he likes his country.
Yer the after effects of missiles sound good , not straight away but maybe after you fire a V3 or nuke ?

Map ideas
Being the fallout map buider, i would like loads of ideas and maybe plans for fallout maps?
I have made a few so far like a iraqi town map, which basicaly, you play the part of the USA and you have to capture the town by destroying all iraqi defenses and military in the area . Also the UK are allied with B52 bombers, which sometimes when you r in trouble provide a bombing run to assist you.
I would greatly like ideas on maps, but again, please keep the ideas realistic and simple and close to the story.

maybe for the iraqies, some terrorist guy that can be disguished as an civilian, just like some troops of saddam did in the war. Or for the aussies an f-111 bomber, if i'm correct the aussies are the only country in the world, who uses it(the usa did also, but they already retired it) wich can shoot some cruisemissiles and have some kind of radar jamming(don't know if australia has the ef-111 raven) so that sam sites have more trouble to lock onto them, like the stealth

I have a few ideas that i think are good (i'd like to do them but i can't get past amking basic models at the moment so it's unrealistic). My ideas are:
1.armoured suites- men that have more health, do more damage ( due to computer enhanced accuracy), and can be upgraded to have some sort of jetpack.
2.tear gas grenades- slow down men, and reduce damage done (they can't see where they are going well, and so find it harder to hit targets).
3.You said your looking for realism, well in real life "rocket soldiers" are a two man team (one firing, other to help with carrying equipment).
4.buildable defneces eg lookout towers increase range of sight and men garrisoned inside shoot further, walls.
5.This isn't my idea i saw i tposted somewhere but I think you should include it >>> an assasin who can garrison in buildings without it being visibly garrisoned.
6.An alround tank of some form. One which has machine guns and a medium range main cannon, but doesn't have the armour of a normal tank, could be faster.
7. (if your including ships) - LCM9s transport ships can carry upto 3 tanks which would be visible from above as it is open toped, and 10 men.
8.Commando units team of 5 )built at same time like angry mob) who have a range of weapons suitable for all enemys and who are only seen when firing or moving. Maybe limit on number of these teams can be built at once.

Thanx for those ideas, yer they are the kinda thing we are looking for, some of them are very good. I would love to see some of tht stuff in the mod so i will show tht to henford and keep you posted, probably at least 2 of those ideas will be put in the mod !!!
