Default I need to know how to make a generals mod Please help

I just picked up CNC Generals and would really love to know how to make a mod or mods for it

it realy dependes on wut u wont to do

but u will need a big file editor thats the key to every thing

i got a program called bigedit it simpaly and i does the job

1. Extract the .ini files to the data/ini folder.

2. Start modding! There are some great tutorials on this site written by
deezire, and you will find many more on other webpages.

The .ini files are well commented, and most things are self-explanatory.

It may seem daunting at first, but start to play around with the files and
you will soon get it.

yeah
a good basic tutorial on how to add a unit is at www.cncmatrix.com. and Phiob posted up explanations to all the inis, there stuckat the top of the forum.

but, next time, dont post questions like this, use the search function on this website

Thanks a bunch but,were do i find a good .ini file?

I'm kinda new to modding in all games, and Generals is the first i'm gonna try.

like that guy up there said, first get a big editor like finalbig for example, then go to the c/programfiles/eagames/commandandconquergenerals watever/then find a thing call ini, im not sure if it already there with the shipped game or it from the mod i got

extract those files and then change the numbers, etc. put them in a folder called INI (make one) inside the data folder of the generals directory

ok i have a .big file opener and i got a .csx file thingy



but how do i use them im a horrible newb to moddin and am very clueless

Open the big file, copy the ini, open it with notepad/wordpad, edit and go.

Yea thats a good idea, but it doesnt work i tried it say i don hav enogh memory to do so
