Default mobile patriot help

im trying to use the mobile patriot vehicle made by Sir-Maddoc in a mod but i find that the missiles fire horizontally when the turret is elevated. I looked at his INI code and discovered that firepitch = 0 even though when deployed the turret appears to sit at about 45 degrees.

If i increase firepitch to make the missiles travel on the trajectory i want (45degrees) then the turret also increases by this amount and sits at about 90 degrees.

To me it seems like the bones are set up weird in the model. (the launch bone is horizontal even though the launcher model is elevated).

I know nothing about modelling so i was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on getting the turret and missile trajectory to line up? I was wondering if you can tell a missile to fire at a different pitch to the launch bone or would the model itself need to be altered?

i'd love to use my own, but im starting at the with the INIs before i get round to learning to model and skin. In the mean time i'm getting by with other folks models. This is my first attempt at generals modding so i've gotta start somewhere!

As for the links they are both dead im afraid
