Hmm.... im using photoshop 6, ive tried selecting the bit I want to stay opague but it doesn't work ive also tried making the unwanted parts transparent and still no joy

I've tried it yesterday evening and everything was ok...

I opened the tga file in photoshop, repainted some parts and just save it back in a Art/Textures directory in generals folder and it worked.

alpha channel modification is working as well...

So, send me your file, I'll fix it for you...

The mask is perhaps not perfectly right, I don't have the original one, but it
should be good.

I think you opened it and re-saved it with a program that does not detect and use alpha channels, so he didn't save it.

It was not corrupted for me... what are you using for opening it ?

If you program does bot open apha channels, perhaps can't he open my file (the specs could be slightly different from the generals original file one's)

I try rar anyway

Woot! thanks it worked now ive got to see if I can edit it and keep the transparency.

Btw in return ill let you into the beta when we hold it sometime early July. Just goto my forums and signup ill do the rest.
