I know there are suicide bombers in the game, but this form of suicide is still to current an issue, and it affects way more people than a car bomb, which is still not something to be ignored but a car bomb doesn't change the world, 9/11 did. One of my best friends had a brother. There was a bombing a few years ago in Warrington town centre near to where I live. His brother died in that explosion. He wouldn't play games or watch movies for years that had bombs in. He would just break down. Now you imagine what it would be like if you where int hat situation for 9/11. Someone ,makes a game out of the way someone you knew and loved died, made that fun. How would you like it?

I don't want to get on the wrong side of anybody this is just my point of view. I don't want anyone to dislike me, but i feel strongly about this subject.

, just because it was something on a larger scale doesnt "Change the world"! The world is still the same place, but the US policies are changed. What about the bus that blew up in Russia killing 19+ people, is that just insignificant? also

You say the world hasn't changed, well geographically it hasn't but the reason why the war against iraq started was 9/11. If that hadn't happened i don't think we would have gone to war with Iraq. Thats my opinion, which i'm entitled too.
I was saying that a car bomb effects less people, it's still bad, and still hurts people, but it doesn't have the same effect it doesn't change the way some things in the world work. I mean there are armed soldiers and vehicles at airports and peoples lives were destroyed. THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE!!

Go talk to someone from Israel, they'll give you a different viewpoint on that comment.

Already talked with ya about it on msn MS, I don't think it's that big a deal. Unless you make a map involving the towers and using the big airliners. Besides, I've already seen suicide planes in other mods.

Okay Obvuisly this has a strong voice here... I think it is time I address this matter and my thoughts on it all.

I am a Unites States Marine, so dont tell me about disgust, insensitiveness, or callousness. I have seen more shit and waded thru it then you know. And I make the choice to sarcifice myself in order to give MILLIONS in my country freedom. Now weather I have already been in a place to make that sacrifice is irrelevant.

Am I being insensitive to the loss of those of 9-11, NO. I feel for every single lost life, I shed a tear for the whole event. It was in two words, LIFE CHANGING. The glasses of PROPOGANDA, and IGNORANCE had been removed from billions of peoples eyes. There illusion of the world being safe and danger never striking them or there home, or even their neighboorhood was removed. The concept and ignorance that war is always fought far away from there home was blown away.

Now what I think is INSENSITIVE and something to be ASHAMED OF is to have the balls to turn and to a forum that spans the breadth of the world and touches into the homes of the world that a car bomb is not as important or life changing as 9-11. I want you to say that to the victims family of any attack from a car bomb. I want you to go to a funeral and have the balls to place them up ont he table and at the funeral say I feel for you but this is nothing as real or life changing as 9-11. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE is that the world has accepted car bombing as such a regular part of life that it is not seen as that news worthy or note worthy.

IGNORANCE IS BLIND, especially and deadly WHEN YOU LISTENS TO THE WHISPERS OF PROPOGANDA.

As the soldier in me, I say this war sucks, war is evil, choatic, and there are NO RULES. It is simple kill or be killed, MANY ugly things happen in war. 9-11 is no exception. Now was I seriously going to think about adding this idea, YES. Have many other mod starting doing the same concept (looking at Energy Mod), obviously YES. So dont try and crucify me. I feel your pain on the matter and I am sorry if it strikes a cord with you. But it was well said earlier... this is a game. If you personally feel that this addition is to close to home and painful perhaps you may not want to play my mod.

Would like to note that I did say that the planes would be a cessna type and a CArgo Plane style aircraft.... NOT airliners.

Knowing 4 languages, made it possible for me to follow the Iraqi war on a lot of different TV channels here in "the old Europe". That the Iraqi TV, being led by a dictator, was to be censored, that I expected, but I was PERPLEXED to what extend the USA TV stations, in the democratic country by excellence, was being censored. The absence of information was striking on CNN for example, when compared with several European stations.
What is so alarming is that most Americans get a distorted point of view.

I'm sure most of you have seen documentaries on how brutal Saddam was, but did you also see on how the oil industry is pushing Bush?, on how US politics are mixed with corporate interest to an unbelievable level?, on how freelance reporters are being beaten by bored US soldiers, on how some spin-doctors at the white house manage to blackmail countries in the UN Council, etc...
What is so sad is that far too few Americans are even given the chance to form their own opinion and have critical remarks. All the objective information is currently being filtered.

Also the US government attitude towards my country, and our neighbouring countries France and Germany, because they dared to voice their disagreement, has left a negative impression on me.

I absolutely agree. I think our country is, in general, taking a turn for the worse, and has been for the past 50 years. I can't bear to watch television anymore. It's truly agonizing the amount of corporate sludge they pack in there. Fortunately for the rest of the universe, if we don't get our acts together, and soon, we won't be around much longer.
